Summary

Episode starts with Alice happily saying Jacks name. Vincent interrupts her thoughts and throws Cheshire’s dead body in front of her, which causes Alice to scream.

Back to the present, Break is on the floor, and wakes up to a worried Oz. Break gets up, and remembers he went to “that fool of a dukes” place. Duke Barma is behind him as he says this and is irritated by his words.

Reim shows his concern for Break and tells him not to use his powers so recklessly.

Duke Barma urges Break to continue where he left off, but Oz is uncertain whether it would be good for Break to continue. Break rejects Oz’s concern, calling him a little boy, and saying he knows he wants to hear about it. He also urges Barma to tell him what he knows as well, and Barma replies that he will. Barma asks what Break saw in the deepest part of the Abyss.

Break replies he saw “the Will of the Abyss”, the footsteps of death, and Vincent and Gil as children.

The scene switches to Vincent and Alyss’ confrontation. Vincent collapses, saying that Alice should’ve died that day, and he knew she did. Alyss yells at Vincent, asking why he’s here, and Cheshire hits Vincent, saying he never did anything wrong.

Alyss starts repeating that she hates Vincent, and starts crying, asking why Vincent is always mean to her. The dolls start saying to her not to cry, and encourage her to take Break’s other eye.

Alyss turns to Break, asking who he is. Suddenly her clock chimes, and her personality shifts. She becomes a happy girl, announcing it’s time for her tea party. She also mentions how Jack promised to take her to his house and pick flowers with her. Vincent starts laughing, saying that he’s sure Jack’s dead, as he saw him fighting with Glen, Alice looks distraught, and refuses to believe it. Vincent screams at her, saying that Jack definitely won’t come, and accuses Alice of everything, saying that it’s all her fault all of this happened because Jack tried to protect her. He continues on, saying she’s the one that killed Jack.

The dimension starts to crumble as Alice screams “You’re lying” to Vincent. Vincent stands up, saying to let everything crumble, as if everything turned strange it would make him normal.

Vincent and Gil fall into depths of black as Break remembers the reason for being there. He yells out Alyss, asking her to change the past for him, and saying that he’ll give anything to do it. He yells out Alyss’ name three times, and Alyss turns round to look at him.

Back in the present, Gil is dumbfounded that he was there with Vincent one hundred years ago, and Oz wonders why the Will cared so much about Jack.

Barma explains how the memoirs of Jack Bezarius explains how Jack met a girl called Alice confined by Glen Baskerville in a tower.

Flashback to Jack meeting Alice. Alice tells Jack that she doesn’t know why she’s locked up but she’s sure everyone hates her. Jack smiles at Alice, and tells her she can come play at his house. Alice refuses this, saying Glen would never allow it. Jack just grins saying that they won’t get caught. He continues on saying that the Bezarius rose garden is very beautiful, and saying he wants to show Alice many things.

Jack narrates, saying that to him, Alice was just a small and powerless child. However he started to notice small things, like the attitude of her cat towards her at times, the colours she wore, the books she read. And what bothered him the most, was the atmosphere around her, the gentle atmosphere of an innocent child would occasionally change.

Jack asks Alice who she is, as at that moment she is not the Alice Jack knows. Alice steps back and gives Jack a wicked grin, saying that she isn’t the Alice Jack knows so well, and says that she is still Alice nonetheless. She continues on saying that her soul and Alice’s are connected by a deep bond, in the Abyss, and they might as well be the same person.

Jack narrates saying that those two were raised in the womb and born in Abyss, saying they’re twins.

Back to the present, Break asks Barma if there was anything else in his memoirs, and Barma replies saying only feelings of regret.

Barma continues saying the feelings were nonsense, and says to Oz that under the influence of Jack, Oz claimed that Glen Baskervilles objective was to obtain the Will of the Abyss. He grabs Alice’s arm saying that she interests him greatly, with her connection to the Will and her true identity. He says that Pandora would be very interested in studying her. He says the same to Break, claiming that the name “Kevin Regnard” still hasn’t been forgotten and if he was found he’d be sentenced to death. He lets go of Alice and moves closer to Break. Oz stands in his way, saying that Barma pisses him off more than Break.

He continues on saying that he knows that Pandora will be in an uproar if they hear about this, and that Barma can make information go to his favour, but says that he can do so as well, using Jacks name against him. Barma accuses him of being a filthy brat for using the name of a hero, and Oz accepts this, saying he’s clever but childish, with no power. He continues on saying that he’ll use any means necessary to protect them. Barma attempts to hit Oz but Break and Gil brandish their weapons before he has the chance. Barma gives them a furious look, saying they will definitely come to regret this.

Later on, Oz is in a state, saying his head can’t keep up with the grand words.

Alice suggests they eat as they can’t think on an empty stomach. Oz and Gil laugh and agree.

Oz speaks to Break, saying thanks for telling them. Break refuses his thanks, but Oz says it must’ve been hard for him to tell them. Break continues on saying that he’s an illegal contractor, but Oz says that he’s the one who said that they’re using each other, and asks what it’s got to do with the past.

Alice suddenly jumps up and says that it means they’re comrades. She laughs at Break for not knowing and explains it means they’re friends. Gil and Oz grab Break, (crossing out Oz out of the equation = happy GilXBreak fangirl). Break finishes by saying this sort of relationship annoys him.

In the carriage on the way home, Break continues saying that his real name was indeed Kevin Regnard, and he served the Sinclair family as a knight from a very young age. Oz mentions that the Sinclair family were murdered by a rival aristocracy. Break responds to this saying that this is true and untrue.

He continues on saying that while he and the Sinclair’s daughter was away his lord and all people dear to him was slain by a traitor. Break calls himself stupid for thinking such things as “Why wasn’t he by his masters side?” and “Why didn’t he pay more attention?” He continues on saying that thats when the devil whispered in his ear, asking if he wanted to change the past.

Oz replies to this saying that the past cannot be changed, but Break continues on saying that he did rewrite the past. The Will listened to his wish.

Break explains that he was engulfed in darkness and found himself in a world more than thirty years after his own. Break’s master survived, but the whole Sinclair family was wiped out, including the daughter by an opposing family.

Break covers his face in regret saying that he killed her. Oz protests saying that he couldn’t have known about it.

Break agrees and continues on saying that it wasn’t something the likes of him should’ve messed with. He says that he blamed the Will, but in reality it was his selfishness. He continues on saying that he insisted that it was for his masters sake but the truth was he was only thinking of himself.

Oz confronts Break, saying that tossing his feelings from back then away is also similiar to running away. He states that he thinks Break is a lot weaker than he thought he was, but says that he thinks that Break is a lot stronger than he himself thinks he is.

Break turns to Oz, saying he’s putting a lot of pressure on him. He continues on, saying that people gain strength through others, and what you should focus on isn’t using the “it’s for somebody else excuse”, that way you’ll always be on the path chosen by yourself.

Thoughts

Aaw, I can’t hate him though, even after these next few scenes. (Never really felt any attatchment to Cheshire, maybe thats why).

Amazing episode. I loved it, ‘cept they cut one of my favourite lines from Gil to Break, but I guess things have to be sacrificied. I can’t believe Pandora Hearts ends in three weeks time!

So Shugo Chara! is having a new arc~ Fair enough. I don’t complain about the lack of Ikuto, unlike others. I’m hoping this new arc will be amazing, and I have high hopes. Y’see I’m looking on the brightside now, as much as I’d like Shugo Chara! to come to an end before it gets too long winded. Anyway, onto the chapter.

I wonder what the new Guardians will be like? They’d better be interesting characters. Then again, we already have a cast of amazing characters. Maybe they’ll be backdrop characters as the focus won’t be on the Guardians anymore now. All speculation.

Good chapter, I guess, the beginning of a whole new story. I wonder what Peach-Pit have in store for us.

Side Note: PH 22 and Shugo Chara! 99 will be up tomorrow, I’m tired, and I need a rest. Blogging shouldn’t be a strenuous chore, to be honest. With me starting A Levels this year, which are qualifications that require a lot of study, my blogging will most probably be limited. Apologises, but I’ll try my best. Oh and I’m dropping FMA Brotherhood.

Summary

It’s revealed that Nikaidou is the one thats going to give the Guardians a lift. Nikaidou is a bit ticked off by it, but Yaya and Rima give him a rather scary look making him unable to refuse. Amu smiles and thanks him.

They reach their destination, and Nagihiko mentions how it looks like it’s been used recently, and Nikaidou mentions that the power’s still on. Nikaidou hacks into the scientists’ computer and mentions how they look to be planning something diabolical. Radio waves are shown on the computer screen.

Nikaidou predicts that Easter wants to use Ikuto again over a radio broadcast, Amu looks depressed, saying that he’ll have to perform again. Nikaidou continues on saying that the power will be weaker, but the broadcast will be heard over a larger area.

The charas cheer Yoru up, and Nagi is reminded of Temari, and says her name out loud. Rima hears and looks at Nagi with questions in her eyes. (Rimahiko!)

Nikaidou suggests that the Guardians phone up their parents, as it’s getting late. Amu hesitates, and remembers the scene when her mother wished she hadn’t kept secrets from them. Amu debates about this, and thinks that she can’t tell them, but she’d be lying again.

Amu rings her mother up, and explains she’s doing work for the Guardians with Nikaidou. A touching scene follows, where her mother says that she trusts Amu, and tells her to be careful.

The Guardians and Nikaidou reach FM Inter, one of Easters radio stations, and Nikaidou asks if they do live broadcasts. They don’t.

Suddenly Saeki Nobuko appears. Yaya suggests they ask her, as she helped them previously. Nobuko claims that they’re looking for someone important to them and offers help.

Nagihiko shows Saeki Yoru, and Saeki utters the words “white tower, violin, and somewhere with a lot of open space, maybe an amusement park.

They notice an advertisement for “Dream Egg Land.” (Satellite, always full on with names eh?) Which is opening soon. It’s an amusement park opened by Easter.

Saeki mentions how they’re holding an opening concert to celebrate the grand opening. A violin concert, in fact. The Guardians decide to get moving, and Saeki mentions that they should hurry.

They’re back in the car. Tadase mentions how the broadcast is to begin at 7 o clock, and Nikaidou turns the radio on to FM Inter.

The scientists do a countdown after confirming that all is ready. The radio broadcast begins as Ikuto plays his violin. Hundreds of X-Eggs begin to congregate around the FM tower, as the Guardians watch on.

Ikuto falters, and the Director forces him to continue, raising the intensity of the fork. The scientists show concern. (Mild I’d say).

Nikaidou and the Guardians reach the tower, and the Guardians rush off, leaving Nikaidou. Nikaidou attempts to chase after them but a gate shuts them in, and Nikaidou out.

Rima falls behind, and Nagihiko runs back to help her, as Amu Tadase and Yaya go on. Nagihiko holds out his hand to Rima but Rima calls him a liar, for she overheard the conversation he had with Saeki about him being a girl last time. Nagihiko, calm, shows Rima his Temari egg asking if she’d keep it a secret from the others for a while.

Tadase, Yaya and Amu are surrounded by X-eggs. Rima and Nagihiko in their character transformations attack the X-eggs, insisting the others go on. Amu thinks how good it is to believe in everyone, (manga Amu, I love you~) and she won’t hold back anymore because of the belief.

The X-eggs have increased power due to Ikuto’s violin. Nagihiko hears the words of the children who’ve been X’d and it reminds him of his own experiences, how people thought that he could be much more refined and graceful if he was actually a woman.

Rima gets annoyed at the X-eggs and yells at them, saying that it makes everyone unique, strengths and weaknesses, and what you can and can’t do. She yells that whether it’s comedy, sports, etc, you should just do your best to refine your techniques and skills.

Nagihiko smiles to himself, and tells Rima that he’ll get the X-eggs attention while Rima attacks. Nagihiko concludes that he’s been running away from the fact that he can’t dance like a girl, and concludes that there’s no reason to act like one. He continues on, saying how he’s sure the dance that he, boy raised as a girl, created is out there. Temari hatches.

Temari smiles and Nagihiko, concluding that he’s found what he’s been looking for. Nagihiko apologises for taking so long, and character transforms to Yamato Maihime, with Rima looking on, thinking “amazing.”

Thoughts

You know you love to help these kids out Nikaidou.

His crush on Sanjo never had a purpose until now…really. Apart from perhaps episode 38.

You’d think he’d encrypt a longer password, but hey, this is the Shugo Chara world, everythings simple, easy, and darn cute.

Aaaw. Is it just me or is Amu starting to look more and more like manga Amu? Not that thats a bad thing, thats a very good thing.

Rimahiko~ They are just SO cute together.

Queen’s Waltz<3

Aaw, Amu.

Ah I loved the Rimahiko in this episode. However I do wish that that Queens Waltz was in this episode as well. And the Saeki jokes were just not funny. Well, for me. But the tower scene is very close so I’ll forgive them~

I am glad that there were some references to the past fillers, which made the fillers have…some sort of purpose. But on the down side to that it did use up precious air time.

Shugo Chara!!! Dokki Dokki

I swear to God, it’s going to be a pain in the neck writing all those exclaimation marks.

Anyway, I don’t know what to think about this news. Well, my instincts say, DO NOT WANT. If this new series is another 51 episodes, I’ll probably tear my hair out. And I seriously hope that Satellite begin to learn the art of DECENT FILLERS, as well.

I’ll give the first few episodes a go. If I don’t like, I don’t watch, and I don’t complain. Although the last statement is subject to change. I love to complain about Satellite..

Regarding Pucchi Pucchi, it sounds cute. May give it a go, as they’re short snippets. Really it’s the anime I’m concerned about.

The whole live action business, I’m not that bothered about really. I believe they’re going to be short snippets as well, and as long as it doesn’t consist of girls trying to be all cute and failing miserably I’ll watch, I guess.

If my sources are incorrect, please correct me, my mind is quite tired at the moment to comprehend the amount of Shugo Chara news..despite the fact I found out about this the other day~ It still hasn’t really sunk in.

As I did in a forum, I apologise for anyone who’s fanatic about the new season and has had their expectations crushed by reading my blog post. Tough luck girls~ Being a fangirl also means you should know when a series needs to stop.

Beautiful, I’m glad the animation didn’t drop this episode. Though the OST track placements were a bit odd, but hey, I love the OST so I’m not complaining..

Summary

Oz, Alice, Gil and Break are off to an opera house to meet Rufus Barma. Reim meets them at the entrance of the opera house, and takes them inside.

Alice asks Oz why he wants to visit Rufus, and Oz explains that he wants to know the truth, about the Tragedy and all things related to it. They reach Rufus’ room and a clown bounces out from the ceiling, claiming to be Rufus. Oz’s reaction is dull he claims, as Oz isn’t surprised about Rufus. Rufus can tell that Oz has a habit of accepting things the way they are, and Oz is surprised at Rufus knowing this about him. Rufus claims that there’s nothing he doesn’t know.

Rufus refuses to answer Oz’s questions, asking him if he’d be better off if he did know the answers. Oz says that he wants to protect the people around him, and he wants to do something for himself.

Rufus goes insane (literally) and starts bouncing and rebounding on the walls. Alice and Oz chase after him and Rufus corners Alice, asking her if she really does want to get her memories back, for she could’ve forgotten them on purpose and for a reason, and if she remembers her memories she could wish to be dead. He continues to bug her, calling her a poor thing.

Alice kicks Rufus, saying that she’ll continue to try and seek herself so she can continue being herself, and she’ll mow down anyone in her way. Oz compliments Alice saying she’s amazing, but Alice points out that Oz is the same way, he’s moving forward as well.

Oz agrees and says they’re both comrades, and calls Alice a “friend”. From a distance, Gil and Break watch on, and Break asks if Gil is scared of Oz moving forward and leaving him behind. Break then leaves Gil, with a stunned expression on his face.

Break confronts Rufus and claims that the one Rufus is after is not Oz, but him, and claims that Rufus has been investigating his past. Break then destroys the illusion in front of them, making everything disintergrate. The real Rufus reveals himself.

Break starts to cough up blood, and Oz tries to run to his side. Rufus blocks the way. Rufus moves closer to Break, wanting proof he’s the real “Kevin Regnald”. Reim tries to block Break but Rufus hits him on the side of the head. (*Sigh* Why does Reim always get the worst end of the stick?) Rufus claims that it’s Break’s “second time” and uses his fan to slice open Break’s top, which reveals a full illegal contractor clock.

Break collapses and Rufus claims that he’s Kevin Regnald, the illegal contractor that took the lives of one hundred and sixteen people to his Chain and even though he sacrificied this many, he was still cast into Abyss. Rufus claims he doesn’t want to arrest Break, he just wants information.

A flashback begins. Break is on a floor of a room in Abyss. Cheshire is inspecting Break, and Break thrusts his sword towards him to keep him away. Alyss appears, and asks for Breaks name. Breaks chain “Albus” appears, saying it’s longed to see her, the Will of the Abyss. Alyss thanks Albus for bringing him to her, and finds out that his name is “Kevin”, and that he served in a huge mansion. She also bluntly mentions how they all died in his absense, and that even though they’re all precious to him, they all died. Break attempts to attack Alyss in his anger, but Alyss continues, saying thats why he came here, to get them back. She also mentions how Break is special, and how he “killed all those people.”

Albus attacks Break, saying how he will not permit anyone to hurt the Will of the Abyss. Alyss is irritated by Albus interrupting her and destroys him. Alyss starts to dance with Cheshire.

Break wonders what sort of nightmare this is, and says he came here to revive his master, to turn back time.

The dolls start speaking to him, claiming he’ll turn into a Chain, Break is in disbelief. Alyss confirms this and claims that the Abyss turns the unconcious to the concious and controls time itself.

She continues on saying that Glen said all of this, and that she hates Glen, for “taking him away from her”, and Gilbert and Vincent, anyone who gets close to him.

Alyss rips Breaks left eye out of its socket, claiming it’s for Cheshire. Break falls to the ground, and thinks he’s going to die right there. Determined, though, he slices somemore of Alyss’s dolls in front of Alyss face. Suddenly a rumbling sound interrupts them, as the Tragedy of Sabrie is occuring above. Alyss falls to the ground and starts to suffer due to the amount of people flowing into Abyss. A young Vincent then appears with a young Gil over his shoulder claiming that he just did as he was told, and opened the gate, then everyone fell into Abyss.

Thoughts

Aww, Alice really does look lovely though.

Break makes people walk into walls.

Oh yeah~ Badass Alice.

Ahaha scared Gil is always win. Though he’s not scared, I think but rather…bewildered.

I loved this episode, I think it’s one of my favourites. Episode 15 is a huge favourite for me though, not sure if this tops it~ But still. Amazing. I especially was impressed with Break’s seiyuu, he did a great job portraying Break’s pain and anguish in Abyss.

As I mentioned above there were some weird OST placements, but I’ll overlook it.

And I caught up with the manga, it’s amazing. Undecided about blogging the latest chapter. Depends on my mood in the next few days I guess.

Summary

The episode starts with little Tadase playing with Betty, and he overhears his father angrily talking to himself, about Ikuto’s fathers disappearance. The Dumpty Key is in his hands. He hears Tadase outside, beckons him and gives him the key, telling him to treasure it. Tadases narration expresses how he didn’t understand much, but he understood that the happy times would never return.

(Cue new music for Episode title. Wow Satellite, get in there! (sarcasm, can you tell?)

Tadase’s at the Royal Garden talking about Ikuto and Utau. He explains how his family took them in while their parents were away. (Dang, they were cute kids. Even Tadase~) Yaya is surprised they lived together, and a photo is shown and the charas make comments about Ikuto being cute/cool.

Ok I swear I’ll continue.

A scene is shown of Tadase’s mum trying to be nice to Ikuto, but only getting cold shouldered. She notices his violin.

Tsukasa asks Tadase’s mother if she’s uneasy about them living with them, and she’s unsure.

Tadases narration explains how everyday was fun with his new “siblings”, and a scene is shown with Utau, Tadase and Ikuto playing hide and seek. (Ohoho Utau, you were so clingy to Ikuto even back then, so cute~! And chibi Ikuto in a treeee~ xD)

The next scene is of Ikuto playing his violin to Utau and Tadase, with their faces shining. Ikuto’s face has a gentle look on it while he’s playing. (Man, he was one skilled kid~)

Utau and Tadase are looking guiltily at a broken vase. Tadase’s mother appears and Ikuto claims he did it, trying to take the blame. Tadase and Utau run up to him, and tell him not to lie. Tadase’s mother stands there, unsure, and Tadase’s grandmother appears. She takes a look at the vase and suggests that everyone should clean it up together.

Tadase’s grandmother explains how all things with form will break, and it’s important to take care of things. She also says it’s important for one to have a caring heart.

Tadase explains how his mother increasingly started to avoid Ikuto after that.

Tadase’s mother is talking to Tadase’s grandmother about the rumour about the cursed violin and the black cat of misfortune. Tadase’s grandmother shoots down these accusations, and tells her to believe in him. (What a nice woman, unlike another..) Tadase expresses how he loves his “onii-tan”. (Aww~) Ikuto is shown listening into their conversation.

Tadase wakes up, and sees Ikuto walking away with his violin. Tadase runs after him, trips over, and calling out “onii-tan”, as Ikuto runs into the distance.

Tadase explains back in the present, how shortly after their mother took Utau away and remarried to Easters director. He expresses how he believed in him until the day two years ago.

Ikuto is shown holding his violin with Betty dead. Tadase is there, shocked.

(Awww the break screen is so cute~)

Tadase runs up to Betty, and demands Ikuto to say something. Ikuto stands there silently, and Tadase sees the Dumpty Key in his hand.

Tadase hears a scream and sees his grandmother collapsed in the hallway, with Tadase’s mother shaking her. They all drive off in an ambulance with Ikuto walking away, still silent. Tadase’s mother is convinced he’s a black cat of misfortune.

Tadase expresses that he still doesn’t know if Ikuto did anything to Betty, and he says how keeping silent is no different from running away.

Amu thinks back to the things Ikuto did, and realises that Ikuto’s heart is more hurt than anyone elses, as he tried to make people hate him. She says how he must be worse off than any of them, and starts crying. (Amu~ D=)

Yaya breaks the mood by saying how she must be the one whos in tears, because she’s the baby character. (Wow, is that a new OST track? o_o Reminds me of Standing in the Way of Control by the Gossip…YES thats random). She says that Amu’s the main character and has to overcome the sad stuff. And decides everyone should go save Ikuto, so everyone can have their happy ending. (YES!!)

It’s all well and good they decided that, but they wonder where to start. They decide to go to Tsukasa. Tadase reveals a hidden room in his office, much to the rest of the Guardian’s surprise.

They walk through the passageway, marvelled. Nagihiko comments about how he’s surprised at Yaya’s speech earlier, and how she turned everyone’s feelings around. Yaya’s surprised by his comment.

Nagihiko takes his Temari egg out of his pocket, and says how he’s got a good feeling about this.

They reach Tsukasa and he’s convieniently got enough tea laid out for everyone including charas. (That guy is a complete mystery~)

Tadase says how he wants to save Ikuto and ask for the truth, and Tsukasa reveals how he was the one who hid Ikuto. Tadase’s liek wtfomg. (Lol) and asks why he didn’t tell him. Tsukasa explains Ikuto was in a predicament with Easter, and doesn’t answer Tadase’s questions, saying he has to find the key to his story on his own. Tsukasa explains that he’s arranged for someone that can help to meet them, and gives Amu the “Lost Egg” picture book.The Guardians run off, with Tsukasa thinking about the torn page.

Last scene shows the beautiful display of rocks, with an empty chair and the Director holding a rock, thinking that he can’t let the Embryo slip away again, and thinking it won’t be long, “Hikaru”.

HELL YES. FINALLY. Although after seeing the episode title for 98 it was pretty obvious Temari and Queen’s Waltz was coming but hey! I’m so happy now. Oh and this episode was win, more win than I thought it would be. Maybe because I had low expectations, but whatever. Amuto fluff ain’t far away now~ <3 I hope Doki gets extended another another few episodes, simply because I don’t want these scenes to be rushed. Seriously, it needs to be epic. More epic than the Dia arc. Satellite, you’d better do this right. (Although after this weeks episode, I think you’ve gained my trust again. A bit. But that ain’t hard to do to be honest, what with my crazy fangirl side that has to squeal over Utau, Tadase and Ikuto~). Anyway, I can’t wait for the next few episodes! To sum up, great episode, and nicely done!

Summary

Picking up from last week, Hohenheim and Ed are in front of Trishas grave. Ed is angry at Hohenheim, and Hohenheim says that he’s running away, as he burned his house down. Ed is irritated by his words.

Hohenheim stays overnight at Pinako’s, who comments about how he hasn’t changed at all. Literally.

Ed overhears them talking about Trisha not being the one Ed and Al transmuted.

In Central Ling, Winry and Al discuss Al’s body and immortality and his body being a “timebomb”. Winry storms out of the room after Ling pushes it too far.

Hohenheim leaves, and Ed decides to dig up what Al and him transmuted. Only to find male bones, which means that they didn’t transmute their mother..

Troubled by the find, he rings up Izumi Curtis and inquires about her transmuting her child. She refuses to answer his questions and hangs up.

Ed returns to Central, finding Al’s body in a bad condition. He throws Ling and Ran Fan out of the room. (xD)

Ed then tells Al that he dug up what they transumuted and Al’s shocked by this. He concludes that what they transmuted wasn’t their mother and he has a reason to be confident that he can return Al to his body.

Al remembers that he saw himself through the gate. Ed and Al conclude that all they have to do is drag Al’s body out of the gate as Ed did with Al’s soul.

Izumi rings back, and they both confirm that they didn’t kill their loved ones twice.

Ed and Al walk off, determined, while Winry attempts to chase them, but falters, thinking about how broad Ed’s back looks. (Finally, a decent EdXWin moment..).

Oh I forgot about this scene, but i suppose the shift doesn’t have much of an impact. No Fullmetal Alchemist next week (or should I say..this week?) though. (Just what am I going to watch apart from Doki? I guess I could make an extra long post about Doki. If the episode is good~)

Overall nice episode. Although I had my doubts about the OST choice during the AlXWinry talk, but lets not go there. Oh and ignore the fact that this post is late, please~

*sigh* Satellite need to pick up the pace, I’m really starting to doubt that we’ll get the recent Amuto chapters animated, at least, in this season. Facepalms all round Satellite, this episode was part filler.

At least they brought Betty in, but they could’ve done that episodes ago. I thought they were going to skip Tadase’s story, and explain it after they save Ikuto or something.

There is a bright side to all of this though, CHIBI TSUN TSUN UTAU!~

I don’t have time to do a full summary and thoughts now because I’m going out soon, so this part will be updated shortly.

Oh yeah and Zeffie, you were totally right to be pessimistic. -_-;;

Summary

The episode starts with a typical Director talking to idiot scientist scene, with the Director saying that Ikuto will concentrate on playing the violin and collecting many x-eggs. Which means they completely brainwashed him.

Amu and her little sister Ami walking in town, “shopping.” Naturally, Ami is happily chating “shopping” with the charas. Amu and Ami spot a clown playing an accordion surrounded by kids, and among the kids Amu spots Taiyaki kiddy. (And I STILL don’t know why Satellite chose him to be blond, but whatever).

Ami tries to ask for his name, no reply, and Ami asks if he’s in elementary school, and he shakes his head. (You’d think they’d find the fact that he’s not in school troubling, but hey). Ami starts dancing with some random kids to the accordion, and Taiyaki kiddy is confused about what all the fuss is about. Amu explains that they’re having fun.

Amu and Ami are walking in the park, Amu thinks back about how weird the kid is. Ran then spots a poster with Ikuto in glasses promoting a new artist gathering. The poster states Ikuto as a new artist called “DL”. (I’ve been thinking about this name, DL could stand for Death Level, as Level and Rebel have very similiar sounds in Japanese. But anyway..).

Amu shows the poster to the Guardians. Yaya says she’s seen the poster before. (Damnit girl, it’s so obvious it’s Ikuto, why didn’t you say anything?) They conclude it’s a trap to lure them in, but decide to go anyway.

At the location of the performance, they decide to split up and gather information. The Director is informed of their arrival and everything is “as planned”.

Yaya and Rima are told “DL” have unusually tight security.

Nagi fails to try and gather information with the excuse that he’s working for his school newspaper and wants an interview with DL.

Tadase and Amu encounter the idiot scientists, thinking they’re staff. (Naturally they have no suspicions that the scientists are the ones keeping Ikuto hostage), and they walk off after failing to get information from the them.

Girl scientist appears, obviously feeling guilty about Ikuto’s state of mind (IT’S TOO DAMN LATE TO BE FEELING LIKE THAT). And a flashback of Ikuto with his glasses and green suit is shown. (I must be the only female who finds Ikuto in glasses and a green suit totally not hot).

Amu and co decide to sneak backstage. Yaya, Rima and Nagi create a distraction, claiming they’re a elementary song and dance troupe. Nagi is noticed by one of the guys they’re talking to and Yaya quickly gets in the way of Nagi, and Rima claims they also do comedy (her tone of voice when she said that really made me laugh). Surprisingly (or maybe unsurprisingly..) Amu and Tadase get in backstage.

Two of Easters goons are guarding a door, which they assume to be Ikuto’s room. The charas create a distraction, and (the best part of this episode BY FAR) Suu pours pepper over the guards (saying sorry all the way through!) while the others tie a rope round them.

Amu and Tadase enter Ikuto’s room, to see Ikuto with a dead look in his eyes and gives them a blank look. Yoru attempts to drag him out but Ikuto only says that unauthorized personnel are forbidden in his room. Tadase confronts Ikuto, asking if he’s really forgotten about everything, Yoru, Amu-chan and even him (check out that “even” Tadase, so he really has been important to you despite everything. Right?) And Tadase yet again asks what happened “back then” and why he stole his key and vanished. No answer. The guards come back, seize Amu and Tadase and drags them out, with Amu helplessly shouting “Ikuto!”

Later, they decide that it’s important now that they make sure everyones Heart’s Egg is ok. There’s also a shot of Taiyaki kid, whos standing in a crowd of people happily running and talking.

Another artist is playing. The Director spots Taiyaki kiddy in the crowd, and wonders “Why is he here?” and thinks that it might actually be convienient. (How so? ._.)

DL enters the stage, and starts to play. Hearts eggs are extracted and turned to X’s, and Taiyaki kiddy watches, in wonder. (It’s pretty obvious from this that he hasn’t got a Hearts Egg).

Charanari time.

Ikuto flies off, and Amu and Tadase decide to follow him while Rima, Nagi and Yaya tackle the remaining X-eggs in the stadium.

Yoru again attempts to bring him back to his senses and Ikuto attacks Yoru. Tadase defends him, also yelling at Ikuto, asking if he’s lost even his heart. Yoru says he hasn’t, as if he had Yoru would’ve disappeared. Yoru yells that he’s getting his Ikuto back no matter what. (I have to admit, I loved the BG music that set this scene. It’s a lot more scene setting than OST’s of some other animes I’m watching. Brotherhood, lol).

The Director tells Ikuto to stop his attack, and he stops. Tadase and Amu are thrown back, and the Dumpty Key, shining, swings on Ikutos neck.

Ikuto walks away, with Tadase yelling at Ikuto to talk to him about what happened that day, if he still has a heart, and calling him “Ikuto-nii-san”. Tadase looks broken, and Amu says she believes he’ll turn to normal one day. (Well he isn’t going to get anywhere if you don’t make a move, filler Amu).

They Platinum Heart the eggs and the Embryo appears. (This next bit was so pathetic I laughed out loud -.-). The scientists initiate the “Embryo catcher” but Amu intercepts it with her Heart Rod. Oh what a shame!

Shot is shown of Taiyaki kid staring off into the distance, where the Embryo was.

Amu finally asks Tadase what happened between him and Ikuto. Tadase says he’ll tell her.

Final scene is of the Director talking to Gozen about all the pieces being in place, and the “last plan”. Shots are shown of shelves of very pretty rocks. And a suspiciously large chair for it’s holder. (Ohoho that wasn’t a spoiler, right?)

VLC Player, being the pain in the neck it can be, is being irritating at the moment so I’m posting screenshots up from watchanime.com. Expect epic, dvd quality. (Not).

Do they ever clean his sheets? I know it’s not something I should be worrying about now but since I’m seeing the same scenes over and over I’m starting to notice small things. -.-

Scream his name all you want, he won’t come back to his senses.

I get the feeling that this episode is more Tadase orientated. Why didn’t he talk on the preview instead of Amu, he might as well have, considering the fact that all Amu did in this episode was shout out Ikuto’s name. Hmm, maybe thats a tad too critical though.

How so Director? That made absolutely no sense. (Edit: To clarify, he shouldn’t know about “you know what”, (which only manga readers can understand)).

Why doesn’t anyone NOTICE how radioactive that violin is? Or maybe only people with charas can see how purple it is?

It’s not shown on this cap but their eggs were extracted. (Although it is pretty obvious from the looks in their eyes).

I guess Amu’s run out of original things to say to him.

Amu and Tadase are the ones to confront Ikuto.

Like I said in the summary, I thought that the BG music was pretty neat.

This bit was, erm rather pathetic. I mean c’mon, I’d rather them not have this scene and just see it fly away for the billionth time (xD) but oh well, it’s all for good comedy. (Unintentional, probably).

One thing to look forward to next week.

Well regarding next weeks episode..I don’t see why they made the whole flashback into a full episode. Why aren’t Satellite picking up the pace? I’m really suspicious. It’s going to be an incredibly tight squeeze, unless they really are planning on an anime original ending, or a movie sequel. I don’t want either, for god sake.

Judging from the next few episodes:

“Tadase and Ikuto! The Horoscope of Fate!” (97)

“Revival! The Shining Dancing Princess!” (98)

“Our Feelings as One! Guardian’s Fight!” (99)

I’m guessing they’re still going to keep “Queen’s Waltz” (thank god, as I’m a Rimahiko fan as well as an Amuto~).

Episode 99 looks like all the Guardians are going to fight. Does that mean the Tower scene? How’re they going to manage that with the limited time?

*Sigh* Whatever Satellite, do what you want. Looks like we might be getting another season, or a movie.

My words will never reach the ears of Satellite, but where’s the fun in keeping quiet?

Anyway, thus concludes my surprisingly negative post. I need a break now. xD

Summary

This episode was comic relief, but it was still amazing. Loved every bit of it. Anyway, the episode starts with Break and Sharon (oh how I missed them!) commenting about Gil and Oz’s depression.

There’s a flashback to when Eliot asks for Oz’s name (I swear, it’s obvious he’s a Bezarius though, emerald eyes, blond hair, the exact same shades as Adas features?) and Gil comes out of nowhere. Oz kicks Gil for being unable to read the mood.

Gil lets slip that Oz is a Bezarius, and as a result Eliot storms off.

Back to the present, Alice is stuffing her face with snacks. Sharon senses that there’s something wrong with her and asks her to tell her.

Sharon deduces that Alice is jealous as Alice complained about how Oz went to do things without telling her. (Oh how cute Alice is~)

So Sharon demands that Alice calls her Sharon-onee chan and shows her some “Romance Bibles”. Sharon reaches the page where the couple kiss, blushes and closes the book. Alice asks why she closed it, and claims that shes already kissed Oz. Sharon attacks Oz, literally.

The misunderstanding is cleared up as Alice had to kiss Oz to complete the contract, as it requires blood.

Uncle Edgar comes in with juice, which is really wine, and everyone gets…drunk. (xD)

Yeah, the events that occur are pretty hilarious, but I’ll leave them to my Thoughts section.

Oz and Break are the only ones who don’t get drunk, and they go outside on the balcony. Oz can tell that Break was only pretending to be drunk.

Gil comes in, still drunk, and asks Oz to take care of himself, and starts crying. (Aww~) Oz says that he will and smiles at Gil.

Oz carries Alice on his back through the corridor, and thinks back to the Eliot confrontation. The flashback shows Leo apologising for Eliot.

Oz is sure he will meet Eliot again, and wants to know the true meaning of Lacie.

The scene switches to Eliot and Leo, where Eliot expresses how he’s tired of seeing the same dream over and over, him standing in a fire surrounded by dead bodies, with blood on his sword. I wonder what this means?

I feel for Gil in these next scenes.

Oz’s been rejected by every girl he tries to flirt with, so of course he’s jealous of Gil who looks cool without trying!

Oh hell, his short fuse has gone off again. Eliot is awesome. Is there even a character I hate in this series?

Putting these all together, we get Break’s past. I think. I’m definitely going to spend the next week (while the Pandora Hearts anime is on a break, lol) catching up with the manga. At least it’ll fill up the Pandora Hearts-less void.

Meh, even though I never really liked (felt the need to like) Lust I’ll still say RIP.

Summary:

Picking up from last week, Gluttony has ambushed Riza while on the “phone” to Mustang as Elizabeth.

Ling tells Al and Winry about Barry and Mustang trying to expose the people involved in the Lab 5 case, and Al decides to go as he may find out about the killers of Hughes.

Back to the fight with Riza, Riza’s on the urge of being consumed by Gluttony when Black Hayate and Fury arrive. Fury tosses a gun to Riza and they both shoot at Gluttony. As bullets are useless against a Homunculous, Gluttony is not fazed. Mustang arrives and uses his fire to blast Gluttony out of the building. Mustang is then yelled at by Riza for saving them. (Although the smile she gives him behind his back is unquestionably grateful).

Riza, Mustang, and Ninja dressed Havoc hop into a car. Al runs up to them, insisting he wants to go as well, as it’s to do with Hughes’ murder.

They discuss Gluttony, and Al insists he’s a Homunculous, as he had an Ouroborous tattoo. Mustang is shocked by this, (crashing into Barry beside him, lolol).

They follow Barry and his “body” into the Lab. Barry goes on a rampage giving Mustang and the gang the opportunity to evacuate everyone. They lose sight of Barry so they split off into two groups, Havoc and Mustang and Riza and Al.

Havoc and Mustang find a room, and Lust corners them. Havoc calls her Solaris (as thats the alias she’s been using while dating him, poor guy) and realises shes a Homunculous. Mustang understands why he fell for her (boobs, lol).

Mustang asks if she knew Hughes, and when he gets his answer, shoots her. The shots don’t effect her. Lust also shows Mustang and Havoc her philosophers stone.

Mustang attempts to attack Lust only to get soaked by the burst pipe above which wets his gloves, making him unable to use them. Havoc and Mustang run out of the room

Mustang uses the environment to his advanatage and creates a boon, making an explosion that (temporarily) destroys Lust’s body.

They reenter the room, trying to find Lust. Mustang mentions that he can tell that she burned because of the fat he can feel in the air.

Suddenly Lusts nails pierce through Havocs body. Lust comes out and Mustang, in frustration and desperation seizes the stone from Lusts heart and attempts try and revive Havoc, only to be stabbed by Lusts nails.

Al and Riza reach Barry and his body which appears to be dead. Lust come up catch up to him, talking about two sacrificies. Riza comes to the conclusion that Mustang and Havoc are gone, and she becomes emotional, firing shots at Lust in desperation. Her bullets run out.

Al guards Riza and tells her to escape. Riza, whos lost the will refuses, and Al refuses to not protect her as he is sick of people dying around him. (Thank god they kept this bit in, they’ve been cutting a lot of Al’s lines that define his innocence lately, I think..). Barry gets cut up by  Lusts claws as she approaches.

Mustang appears (back from the dead!) with an awesome new deadly look in his eyes. This part was rather awesome. Basically Lust burned like hell.

Afterwards, Mustang thanks Al for protecting Riza, and Barry, forgotten, assumed to be dead, is left there.

Winry is waiting on some footsteps and Al greets her, nervously. Winry is glad he came back safe, although his arm drops off.

Barry’s blood seal is destroyed by his own body.

Edward is back in Risembool, where he sees a familiar face. Hoenheim, by his mothers grave.

Thoughts

Heh, I thought this would be cool to screencap. I love how Bones animates Mustangs fire.

“Feast your eyes boys, it’s the philosophers stone.”

I never really understood the “wet match” joke in the manga, in fact I think I understood it more here.

Lol, half assed blogging. Well this is a late post anyway.

I was disappointed. Ran Fan/Gluttony/Envy/Ling fight was cut out, which was a bad move I say, Bones. Ling being my favourite character and all, and it’s not just that, we need to know more about the Xingeses’ abilities to move on with the story. Geez~ I know we all forgot about Gluttony about 10 minutes later but still, what happened to him? Little things like these Bones, little things.

There is the possibility of a flashback of course, but what would be the point of that when there’s so much more to cram into (some people say), 50 episodes? When they could’ve just put the fight in this episode and left this episode with a cliffhanger from the Havoc got stabbed bit?

Well anyway…

On the plus side, Lust vs Mustang was amazing. Really well done.

Regarding the preview, it looks like (from what I remember) we’ll be seeing Ed dig up a certain something he created.

Sorry if you’re a Yuuko fan but, I really don’t want Yuuko to come back. She sacrificed herself for a reason, and if she’s revived..well it’ll make matters even more confusing.

If I were Syaoran I’d do something drastic, like run. I certainly wouldn’t like my freedom taken away for the second time.

Fei Wong Reed, you need to go on vacation. Relax a bit. Maybe then you won’t have crazed impossible ambitions that create ridiculously absurd time loops.

The next few panels were hard to understand for me first time round — but now I understand. CLAMP could at least draw the clones slightly different! (But I guess then they wouldn’t be clones lololol).

Clones try to save Real Syaoran and Sakura and as a result they all end up in the tube. Oh shiz.

Thoughts

I’m not really sure if I like the direction CLAMP is going with Tsubasa. Sure, I love the series to pieces but if this latest event results in ANOTHER time loop, time rewind, or the like, I won’t be very happy. I really hope Kurogane and Fai attempt to do something to prevent time being warped yet again.

But we’ll just have to see where CLAMP goes from here.
